Traveling And Travel Tips

Most people like to travel , depending on their time and their financial situation. It provides a certain excitation and fun factor to visit another country and see other cultures. And on the way learn something new and interesting.

But many people are uncertain of what should they do, and how they could prepare for the journey. There is a little fear as well, safety reasons for one. They do not know how to have, or what should they do when going into and unfamiliar place. Will everything be alright? Is it safe? How will the people react if I do something wrong?

On some of those questions I will provide a short answer. In my time that I worked as a travel agent , I learned a lot about the way how to travel safely and what thing are taboo and what is acceptable. Every new trip is an intense experience, and I would highly recommend to anyone to travel as much as they can.

First of all, be prepared. Before you go somewhere, be sure to check out what place you are visiting. Find out more about the country you are going to. Learn more about their culture, find out as much information as you can. It would not be good when you do something to insult people, and you will not even know why. Simply use the internet, and check the basic information about the people and country in general. If you are going by a travel agency, ask you travel guide to tell you some things that are useful on your trip. But every good travel agent will tell you that by themselves.

Second, be sure to check the basic things that are related to visa (if you need one), and how long you can stay in that country. For example, some countries that have a lot of tourist destinations can give you a visa for 3 months. But most people do not know, or simply do not read all the information that was given to them, that you have to report to the Immigration after 2 month period. They just forget it, or they do not know. And then the following thing happens. Went they want to leave and after 3 month stay, they would have to pay a large amount of money because their visa is not confirmed. And the sum of money that you have to pay can be quite high. So always check at your travel agency, or directly in Immigration for as much information as you can.

When you arrive at your destination, remember that you are a foreigner. Try to learn about their behavior, and the simple things like a greeting in their language. Be polite! You are after all a guest there. Most tourist places are used to foreigners, so they do not mind if someone makes a small mistake.

Always find out more about money exchange. It can happen that in some countries exchange offices have different exchange rates for buying and selling foreign money. If that is the case, be sure to look around for the exchange office that is the most profitable. If you are uncertain, in the beginning just change a small amount of money for food and drink than later when you find out which exchange office offers better rates, change more money.

Keep your passport and money safe. When you are going out for a walk, be sure to have the money on you so that it can not be stolen. You can take small bag that go over the shoulder or around the waist. They are small, but hard to reach. And if someone wants to take something, because it is close to your body, you will notice right away. Try not to take all your money with you. Carry only as much as you think you will spend. So even if you get robbed or you just forget your bag somewhere, the loss would not be that great.

Depending on how long you stay in certain country, find out if you have to carry your passport all the time. If it is not required from you to permanently carry a passport, leave it some place safe, like in a safety deposit box in your hotel. Do not lose it. Your passport is worth more than the money you carry. So always check it first.

I hope that briefly answered some of the questions asked by new travelers. I will further explain about useful things on traveling in my next article.

Enjoy your trip and be smart.

13 Pre-Spawn Bass Fishing Tips

1. Water temperature – When lake temperatures rise into the upper 50 to 60 degree range, bass are on the move. This is the time when they begin to move towards their spawning areas.

2. Creek channels are like highways for moving bass. Points on these creek channels are stop over points, fish these with a crankbait for bass. Bounce it along the bottom around points and drop offs. Try green and craw colors.

3. During pre-spawn the water is colder and bass may still be a little sluggish, so slow down your presentation. Whatever lure you use, fish it slow.

4. Fish points, drop offs, ledges, old road beds, rip rap and grassy areas with close access to deeper water, but near spawning areas.

5. Bass love weeds! Find an area with weedbeds adjacent to a channel that feeds from a spawning area. This is a good time for topwater baits, big worms or lizards, or a slow-rolling spinnerbait.

6. When the water temperature in coves lasts over 60 degrees, bass will start moving in to spawn. This is the time for fun, these bass will be hungry, and will eat almost anything.

7. If you already know where the bass will be spawning, fish the channels approaching these areas, and if you can locate a sharp bend or hump in this channel, it could be a bass hotel.

8. If wind becomes a problem, switch to a swimbait. Or move up into a deep cove and fish the channel.

9. Fish a swimbait or jerkbait like a Huskey Jerk slowly – jerk..wait 10 – 20 seconds … jerk again … hang on. These work great in 2 to 6 feet of water.

10. A cold front now will send bass back into deeper water. This too, means they will feed less. Back to the deer channels, boys.

11. In shallow coves, the water wars faster – bass will seek out this warmer water, looking for schools of shad and crawfish. A jig and pig here is hard to beat.Try a small jig with a craw trailer using a slow dragging retrieve.

12. Another recipe for success: Find a channel point close to a spawning area, bounce a Berkley Chigger Craw along the bottom slowly. Try a crawdad color or pumpkinseed.

13. After a few good warm days, try for bass in stump fields and spawning areas. Bump a crankbait off of the stumps, slowly, or use a spinnerbait or a topwater lure. Think the fish are deeper? Try a Carolina rigged lizard or a floating worm.

How to Get Pregnant Easily – 3 Great Tips

Many women do not feel complete until they have had a child. For some women it will prove relatively easy to conceive but for others it may take some time. However, there are certain things that a woman can do which could help them to conceive more easily. In this article we look at some of the ways that have proven effective for women previously when looking at how to get pregnant easily.

1. Reduce Caffeine Intake – Too much caffeine and your body will find it far more difficult to absorb iron and can adversely affect how fertile one is. Ideally when trying to get pregnant a woman should eliminate all drinks from their diet that contain caffeine, not just sodas and coffee, but tea as well. Instead to help increase the chances of a woman getting pregnant more easily they should be drinking plenty of fruit juices or milk shakes.

2. Make Love In The Morning – Although making love at any time of the day is wonderful to help a woman get pregnant easily it is far better to do so in the morning. The reason for this is that the level of sperm the man is producing is much higher at this time of day. This means that more sperm that are viable will be able to reach the egg that the ovaries have released to be fertilized.

3. Get A Good Night's Sleep – You may not think that this will affect how easily a woman gets pregnant, but it does. If you get the right amount of sleep each night then the levels of the hormone leptin will remain good. If the woman's body is not producing sufficient amounts of this hormone then ovulation will be affected and the chances of her conceiving will be reduced.

Above we have looked at just some of things a woman can do which will help when it comes to her looking for ways of how to get pregnant easily. But along with these there are other things a woman should consider such as ensuring she is eating a healthy well balanced diet.

Practical Proofreading Tips For Business Writing

Missed words, typos and incorrect grammar implying that you do not care about your communications. Not good. Correcting misspellings and errors in your writing is critical. But most of us are desiring to do something else, when we stare at our darling sentences.

One building block to effective, accurate proofreading is tightly focusing your attention and slowing down.

First decide, should you proofread the text on your computer screen or on paper? On-screen proofing is fine for short notes, informal emails, etc. If it's more than one paragraph, or important, print it out and proofread.

Tightly Focus Your Attention: Read What's There

On paper

  • Isolate each line of text. Place a ruler or piece of paper benefit the words. As you read, slowly move down the page line by line and make notes. This tactic slows you down and forces you focus on the text.
  • Read the sentences backwards. For example, "The cat hates the dog." would be read as "period dog the hates cat the." Yes, it's laborious, but it's a fantastic method for discovering missing or repeated words and punctuation.

On screen

  • "Zero in," on one sentence at a time using your word processor's "zoom" function; increasing text size.
  • Use contrasting colors to make the letters stand out. Consider changing the background color of the "screen" or page, to a pale yellow or light blue (when the text is black).

On screen or paper

  • Slowly read the words out loud. Along with missed words, this step pinpoints long sentences and awkward transitions between ideas.

Take the time to slow down and focus. Save yourself embarrassment and the potential errors that just do not bear repeating.

SEO Tips: Link Building

This article is a follow-up to an article I wrote about On-Page Optimization. On-Page optimization enables all of your web pages to make the most out of the mojo that they have – but you need inbound links to create that mojo in the first place.

I use the term "mojo" as a generic descriptor for the importance given to a web page or a web site based upon inbound links. Similar terms include page rank, site rank, trust rank, and authority. Those terms tend to carry too much linguistic baggage, so I use the term "mojo" for simplicity without another term is specifically required.

Mojo is created by getting inbound links to your web site and to your web pages.

Getting inbound links is one of the most important, and time consuming, tasks involved in SEO.

Here are a few tips to generate inbound links. Each of these tips are appropriate for some web sites, but none are appropriate for all web sites. Select the link building strategies which are most appropriate for your specific web site.

Submit to Web Directories

Start with big slow directories like the Yahoo Directory and the DMOZ Open Directory Project, but do not stop there.

Search out the small directories which are dedicated to topics relevant to your web site.

For more suggestions on finding directories to submit to, read How can I find web directories?

Reciprocal Linking

Write individual e-mails to specific webmasters who web pages compliment your own and tell them that you would like to trade links with them.

Make sure to personalize each e-mail, or your e-mails will be quickly deleted as spam.

To achieve the best results from your e-mail, include the following in your initial e-mail:

* Mention two positive items about their web site, so that they know that your e-mail is not a generic spam.

* Include directions to the specific web page where you have added the link to their web site.

* Mention the Page Rank of the page where you have added a link to their web site.

These web sites exist to help you search for reciprocal link partners in the same market niche 'as your web site:

* Find Link Partners

* Link Partner Finder

* Themes Reciprocal Link Finder

Write Articles for Other Web Sites

One method for getting inbound links is to write quality articles and submit them to other web sites for publication.

Each article should include a link back to your web site.

These links are better than links from link pages, because there tend to be very few outbound links on the article page.

Write a brief article on some topic related to the topic of your web site. Do not write an article about your web site, but write an article that would be interesting to people who would also be interested in your web site.

Send this article to webmasters who maintain web sites on topics similar to the topic of your article. Explain to them that they can post your article for free on their web sites, in return for a link to your web site.

To find web sites to submit articles for publication, visit Where can I submit an article for publication?

Create and Submit Press Releases

Write press releases about your web site and submit them to press release distribution services.

To find places to submit press releases for publication, visit Where can I submit my press release?

Join a Reciprocal Link Program

Reciprocal linking programs exist to help webmasters share links with similar web sites.

Some of the reciprocal link programs are:

* Link Market

* Info Wizards

* LinkExchanged

* Link Partners

* Links-Pal

* Linkateer

* Webmaster Link Exchange

* GoTop Link Exchange ($ 19.95 fee to join)

* LinkLeads

* Link Traders

* LinkExchangeIt

* SiteSell

* 123ExchangeLinks

* Ads4Links

* Spocka

* Links For You

If you have a blog, try blogLinker, the automatic link swapper for blogs.

These link networks can generate a lot of e-mail. You will probably want to create a new e-mail account just for these networks.

Join the DigitalPoint Ad Network

The DigitalPoint Coop Advertising Network enables you to automatically trade links with thousands of web sites across the Internet.

Join a Reciprocal Linking Forum

Several web forums exist for the purpose of sharing and trading reciprocal links. These linking forums include:

Link Trade Forum

Start a Reciprocal Linking Program on Your Web Site

You can also setup a reciprocal linking program on your own web site.

For more information on setting up a reciprocal linking program on your site, read How do I add a reciprocal link manager to my web site?

Start or Join a Web Ring

You can use an existing web ring service such as WebRing, or you can create your own web ring using the PHP-Ring webring script.

Join or Create a Top Site List

Search for top site lists which are relevant to your web site.

Add yourself to the existing lists. If no relevant top site lists exist, create one.

Provide a Useful Service

Create dynamic content on your web site which other web masters can include on their web sites by linking to it.

Every webmaster who uses your content automatically adds a link to your site.

Firearm News is an excellent example of this. If you add a small bit of JavaScript to your web page, your users will receive up-to-date news on firearms.

Of course, you will also have to contact other webmasters to let them know about your service – sometimes even with a press release.

Buy Links

If all else fails, you can always buy links to your web site.

If you do not mind to drive a used car (I mean a 2 to 5 years old car, it looks pretty new) rather than a new car, you may save much money to pay many other bills. If you want to keep the car not too old, you may resell it after driving for 2 to 3 years and buy another newer one. The value of the car will only drop 15% or less for a 5 years old car. Therefore, your driving cost for 2-3 years would only be 10-15% of the car's original value.

The price quote above was only the price you buy from an ordinary car dealer. However, you can buy it much cheaper online.

Before entering the dealership

Before you step foot on a dealership lot, there are a few things you need to think about, including what type of vehicle you can afford, what type of car is right for you, and what your credit history consists of.

Once you decide on type of car you need it is time to do your research to narrow down the choices. Compare such areas as safety, reliability, fuel economy, warranties, operating costs, theft rates, general features, and options when making you decision.

How to achieve the best used car price?

Do not buy the first thing you see, or in this case do not believe them when they say that they are the ones with the lowest new car and used car prices, they have to say that, it's their tactics! Be smart and do not enter the dealership without visiting some of these sites, InvoiceDealers, Autoweb,, CarsDirect, Ford Direct and AutoUSA. Find out how much you can buy used car for and then go to your car dealer and let the games begin, of course on your terms! Do not be a dumb buyer as you are expected to be, do your homework if you want to buy used car at the lowest price possible! And one more thing, do not hesitate to buy used car online if your new car purchase quote from CarsDirect is lower than the car dealer. Click buy and they will let you know what is the next step, and in a few days your new car will arrive, and you saved your money and precious time!

7 Tips to Improve Your Singing Voice

Are you more of a William Hung than a Kelly Clarkson? Or are you a decent singer–and wish you were a little better? Whatever your vocal skill, these tips for improving your singing voice are sure to get you singing and sounding much better.

Tip 1: Think about breath. Without proper breathing, you aren’t using your voice to its full potential. To find out if you’re breathing correctly for singing, place your hand on your stomach and inhale. Your hand should move out–your stomach should be expanding, not your ribcage and chest. That’s because you need to support your breath with your diaphragm–the muscle underneath the lungs that inflates them. The diaphragm is activated by abdominal muscles, and it’s much stronger than the muscles between your ribs–the muscles you’re using if your chest, not your stomach, expands with your breath.

You’ll need to have strong breath to give your voice adequate support for singing. To do this, you’ll need to use your stomach and lower abdominal muscles to support your breath. Ab crunches and sit-ups can help you build up strength in this area that you can use to project your voice.

Tip 2: Focus on posture. Your breath travels from your lungs straight up through your mouth. If its passage is twisted, kinked, or blocked in any way, it won’t be able to get out efficiently. How you stand has a big effect on how you sound. You should be standing with your legs about shoulder-width apart. Your chest should be lifted to give your lungs plenty of room to expand. Your shoulders should be back and relaxed.

Tip 3: Relax. If there’s tension anywhere from your abdomen to your head, it’ll affect your sound. Your facial muscles, tongue and throat muscles, vocal cords, jaw and shoulders should all be as relaxed as possible. There are plenty of jaw and facial exercises as well as warm-up activities that will help you relax the muscles in your shoulders, face, and vocal cords.

Tip 4: Know where to put your tongue and soft palate. The soft palate should be raised–this will give more space for your voice to resonate. The tip of your tongue should be placed at the back of your teeth. This will keep it from blocking your throat if it’s positioned too far back.

Tip 5: Watch what you eat. There’s nothing better for your voice than water. Period. If you have a performance coming up, avoid dairy and thick drinks for at least three days beforehand. Drink only water the day of the performance.

Tip 6: Don’t strain. Pay attention to your body. If something hurts when you sing, you’re either at the limit of your range or you’re doing something wrong. You should be able to sing at a strong, healthy volume if you’re maintaining proper breath control; if something hurts because you’re singing too loudly, you’re probably not supporting your voice well with your breath–the vocal cords are doing all the work. If you hurt when trying to hit certain high or low notes, however, it may be that you’re trying for a note that’s outside of your range. It’s true that good breath control can expand your range, but the size of your vocal cords determines the pitches you can reach. You may not be able to hit certain notes no matter how well you support your voice. It’s important to choose songs you can sing comfortably. Above all, don’t try to sing if you have a sore throat–you may make it worse.

Tip 7: Warm up before singing. Don’t go straight into a song without a good warm-up first. A good warm-up routine should concentrate on relaxing your body and getting your breath ready, and should start with simple deep breaths. It should progress to light humming from there, and then some scale work once you feel ready. It’s important not to strain too hard during the warm-up process–don’t reach for notes that aren’t comfortable, and don’t sing at the top of your volume.

Tip 8: Get a teacher. A good voice teacher can really help you improve your voice. It’s sometimes hard to determine how you sound when you’re by yourself; even the most dedicated singer can get into bad habits without feedback. A teacher can give you immediate feedback on how you’re doing and address specific problems you may have.

It’s a shame that so many people think they can’t sing–and wouldn’t be caught dead singing in public. In truth, singing is something anyone can learn to do. Follow these tips and practice, and you’ll have a singing voice you’ll be proud to show off.

Brook Trout Fishing Tips

The traditional brook trout anglers are very set in their ways and techniques. I understand that the tried and true methods work and use them myself, but the best bet to catch those lunker brook trout I am using live baits. The following four tips using live baits like, grasshoppers, salamanders, insects, leeches, minnows, green frogs and others do work best for me. These techniques and the live baits do create better chances of you catching that big big bragging rights brook trout.

Tip 1 – Drift fishing is the most natural way to present live baits in lakes and streams for catching lunker brook trout. Position yourself downstream from a riffle or pool and gentley lob the bait upstream. As it sinks keep your eyes on the line and your rod tip while holding the tip high, while feeling for the first sign of the bottom. Take up the slack with your free hand and then you can feel for changes that might signal a trout's strike. Concentrate on drifting the edges of boulders, trees, logjams and deep runs.

Tip 2 – Float fishing brook trout works in both rivers and lakes, and is especially good when using easily torn off baits such as aquatic insects or salamanders. A small selection of balsa slip-floats, or bobbers. A long rod greatly improves your float fishing experience. Use a neoprene bobber stop a piece of rubber band also does the job set ti at the depth you desire to fish and space the splitshot so the bait drifts naturally as possible. In lakes, a 1/32 or 1/16 ounce jig heads can be used under the splitshot. It's especially good when using leeches or minnows. When you often pull gently on the line, your bait will jiggle under the float and it will be more appealing to the big brook trout.

Tip 3 – Free-lining is another great technique for brook trout, especially on creeks and streams in the late summer. It is most easily done using a fly rod, light monofilament, fine hooks (No, 6 to 10), and use terrestrial insects, like grasshoppers. Hook a grasshopper under the collar and then let your line free-spool as the as bait drifts downstream. When a brook trout strikes, squeeze the line neatly against the rod and set your hook.

Tip 4 – Plunking is good for larger baits fished offshore in large lakes and or at river mouths. The bait is cast out and then allowed to sink to the bottom. The line runs through an egg or bell sinker, so that when the brookie picks up the bait, it feels no resistance. Adding a marshmallow or a small cork steelhead floater helps keep the bait up off the bottom and in the brook trout's view. Plunking is a great technique for fishing minnows, amphibians, insects and worms. The only downside is that the trout eats and are then deeply hooked. This is not a good technique to use if you are fishing catch and release, because of the possible damage to the brook trout.
